One of the excellent things about traveling to peoples homes are the different views that I get to see from windows, roof decks, balconies... many of these are quite breathtaking!  All I see when I look out my window are my neighbors houses and occasionally a local crackhead.  I think of the lucky animals that get to enjoy the views... holidays are the best!  I have seen the fireworks from the privacy of local roofs with no crowds and no interruptions.  :)
